Standing approximately 11" on a wood and composition body, this darling doll has brown German glass eyes and an auburn mohair wig. Her dress, which I have made from antique white cotton fabric, has a dropped waist skirt, and is accented with a red silk shantung fitted jacket and matching bonnet. Her slip and panties are trimmed with lace, and she wears white stockings with black leatherette lace-up boots. This doll was originally manufactured around 1905, and if you ever were fortunate enough to acquire an original, you would be the owner of a very rare doll: at a recent auction of antique dolls, an original S&H 1448 sold for $5500.00! I have priced my reproduction at $275.00.
